Blinker Battery Drain Theory Investigated On Behalf Of Bad Drivers

People don’t seem to like to use their blinker and it got me thinking if there would be any sort of argument that could be made about it depleting the battery? I imagine it would be different whether it was an electric vehicle or gas powered. Thanks!
